Henry Anker



Henry Anker’s practice incorporates American landscape traditions, symbolism, and contemporary image culture. He grew up in Northern California where the natural environment, radical politics, and environmental crisis shaped his perception of the world around him. He received his B.A. in Visual Art at UCLA and his M.F.A. at Columbia University School of the Arts. He currently lives and works in Brooklyn.
